Shipping & Payment Policy

Effective Date: 04/04/2026

This Shipping & Payment Policy explains how we deliver artworks purchased through www.artcrafture.com (the 'Website') and how we process payments. This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions and should be read in conjunction with our other policies.

1. SHIPPING REGIONS AND AVAILABILITY
1.1 Delivery Destinations

We currently ship to the following regions:

  • Finland: All regions nationwide
  • European Union (EU): All EU member states
  • European Economic Area (EEA): Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein
  • North America: United States and Canada
  • Other International: Selected countries (availability confirmed at checkout)

Please note that shipping availability may vary depending on the size, weight, and nature of the artwork. If we cannot ship to your location, you will be notified during the checkout process.

1.2 Rental Services (Finland Only)

Artwork rental services are currently available only within Finland. Rental deliveries and collections are handled according to the rental agreement terms.

2. DELIVERY METHODS
2.1 Direct Delivery (Finland - Selected Regions)

For orders within the following Finnish regions, we offer direct delivery service:

  • Uusimaa
  • Varsinais-Suomi
  • Kanta-Häme
  • Päijät-Häme
  • Kymenlaakso
  • Pirkanmaa

Direct delivery is performed by Artcrafture personnel using our own vehicle. This option provides added security and personal service, with the ability to coordinate specific delivery times with you.

2.2 Courier Delivery (All Other Locations)

For all other locations in Finland and for all international shipments, we use trusted third-party courier services, including:

  • Posti (Finland Post): For domestic Finnish deliveries
  • DHL: For international express shipments
  • Other international courier services: As appropriate
3. DELIVERY TIMES
3.1 Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation. Processing time may be longer for custom or commissioned artworks, in which case you will be notified of the expected timeline.

3.2 Estimated Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times from dispatch (excluding processing time):

  • Direct Delivery (Selected Finnish Regions): 1-3 business days, scheduled with you
  • Finland (Standard Courier): 5-7 business days
  • EU/EEA Countries: 10-15 business days
  • North America: 15-20 business days
  • Other International: 15-30 business days (varies by destination)

Important: These are estimated times only. Actual delivery times may vary due to courier schedules, customs processing, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party courier services or customs authorities.

4. SHIPPING COSTS
4.1 Cost Calculation

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

  • Delivery destination
  • Size and weight of the artwork
  • Packaging requirements
  • Delivery method selected

The exact shipping cost will be calculated and displayed during the checkout process before you complete your purchase. Shipping costs are in addition to the artwork price and are non-refundable except in cases where we ship a defective or incorrect item.

4.2 Free Shipping Promotions

We may occasionally offer free shipping promotions. Terms and conditions of such promotions will be clearly stated at the time of the offer and may include minimum order values or geographic restrictions.

5. PACKAGING AND HANDLING
5.1 Secure Packaging

All artworks are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. We use:

  • Protective wrapping materials (bubble wrap, foam, acid-free paper)
  • Sturdy boxes or crates appropriate for the artwork size
  • Corner protectors for framed artworks
  • Fragile handling labels and instructions
5.2 Framing Options

Paintings and artworks may be ordered with or without framing. Framed artworks will be packaged with additional protection. If you order an unframed artwork, it will be shipped rolled in a protective tube (for canvas works) or flat-packed between rigid boards (for paper works).

6. TRACKING AND NOTIFICATIONS
6.1 Shipping Confirmation

When your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing:

  • Order details and items shipped
  • Tracking number (where available)
  • Estimated delivery date
6.2 Tracking Your Shipment

For courier deliveries, you can track your shipment using the tracking number provided. Tracking may not be available for all shipping methods, particularly for standard domestic mail services.

7. DELIVERY PROCESS
7.1 Delivery Address

Please ensure that you provide a complete and accurate delivery address. We cannot be held responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.
We deliver to the address you specify during checkout. For direct delivery within Finland, we may contact you to arrange a specific delivery time. For courier deliveries, please ensure someone is available to receive the package, or provide delivery instructions if you will not be present.

7.2 Signature Requirements

High-value artworks may require a signature upon delivery for security purposes. If no one is available to sign, the courier will leave a notice with instructions for redelivery or collection.

7.3 Failed Delivery Attempts

If delivery cannot be completed after multiple attempts, the package will be returned to us. You will be contacted to arrange redelivery, which may incur additional shipping charges. If you do not respond within a reasonable timeframe, the order may be cancelled and refunded minus the original shipping costs and any return shipping fees.

8. INSPECTION UPON DELIVERY

Important: Please inspect your artwork immediately upon delivery while the courier or delivery person is still present if possible.

Check for:

  • Visible damage to the packaging
  • Damage to the artwork itself
  • Correct items delivered

If you notice any damage or discrepancies, please:

  • Note the damage on the delivery receipt if accepting the package
  • Take photographs of the damaged packaging and artwork
  • Contact us immediately at rajibul.ratul@gmail.com with your order number and photos

You must report any damage or discrepancies within 48 hours of delivery to be eligible for replacement or refund.

9. SHIPPING INSURANCE

All shipments are insured against loss or damage during transit at no additional cost to you. Insurance coverage includes:

  • Full value of the artwork
  • Shipping costs

In the event of loss or damage during shipping, we will work with the courier and insurance provider to resolve the claim. You will either receive a full refund or a replacement artwork, depending on availability and your preference.

10. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND TAXES (INTERNATIONAL ORDERS)
10.1 Import Duties and Taxes

For international shipments outside the EU/EEA, the buyer is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and any other fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are NOT included in the artwork price or shipping cost and must be paid by the buyer upon delivery or customs clearance.
We have no control over these charges, and we cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for more information about potential charges before placing your order.

10.2 Customs Documentation

We will provide all necessary customs documentation, including commercial invoices and certificates of origin. You may be contacted by customs authorities for additional information.

10.3 Refused Shipments Due to Customs Fees

If you refuse a shipment due to customs fees or import duties, the package will be returned to us. You will be responsible for the original shipping costs, return shipping costs, and any customs or handling fees incurred. A refund will be issued for the artwork price only, minus all applicable fees and a 15% restocking fee.

PART 2: PAYMENT POLICY
11. ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS

We accept the following payment methods through our secure payment gateway providers:

  • Credit and Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express
  • Bank Transfer: Finnish online banking services (via Paytrail)
  • Mobile Payment: MobilePay, Pivo
  • Buy Now, Pay Later: Klarna (subject to approval)

Note: We do not accept cash, cheques, or cryptocurrency payments at this time.

12. PAYMENT CURRENCY

All payments must be made in Euros (EUR). Prices displayed on the Website are in EUR unless otherwise stated.
If your credit card or bank account is in a different currency, your financial institution will convert the payment at their current exchange rate, which may include additional currency conversion fees. These fees are charged by your bank and are not controlled by Artcrafture.

13. PAYMENT SECURITY
13.1 Secure Payment Processing

All payment transactions are processed through secure payment gateways:

  • Paytrail Oyj: Finnish payment service provider (Business ID: 2122839-7)
  • Klarna Bank AB: Swedish payment and credit service provider

These providers comply with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) requirements. Your payment information is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology and transmitted directly to the payment processor. Artcrafture does not store your credit card details on our servers.

13.2 3D Secure Authentication

For your security, we use 3D Secure authentication (Verified by Visa, Mastercard SecureCode) in compliance with the EU Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2). You may be asked to authenticate your payment with your bank using a one-time password, biometric verification, or other authentication method.

14. WHEN PAYMENT IS TAKEN

Payment is processed immediately when you place your order. Your order will only be processed and shipped once payment has been successfully received and cleared.
For commissioned or custom artworks where production takes an extended period, you may be required to pay:

  • Deposit: A deposit (typically 30-50% of the total price) when placing the order
  • Balance: The remaining balance before the artwork is shipped
15. ORDER CONFIRMATION AND ACCEPTANCE

After you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order. This confirmation does NOT constitute acceptance of your order; it is merely confirmation that we have received it.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Product availability
  • Errors in product information or pricing
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Inability to ship to the specified address

If your order is cancelled, any payment received will be fully refunded.

16. PRICING AND VAT
16.1 Prices Include VAT

All prices displayed on the Website include Finnish Value Added Tax (VAT) at the applicable rate (currently 24% for artworks) unless otherwise stated. For business customers within the EU with a valid VAT number, VAT may be reverse charged in accordance with EU VAT rules.

16.2 Price Changes

Prices are subject to change without notice. However, the price confirmed in your order confirmation is the price you will pay. We will not increase prices after you have placed an order.

16.3 Pricing Errors

While we make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy, errors may occur. If we discover a pricing error on an order you have placed, we will contact you to inform you of the error and give you the option to:

  • Continue with the order at the correct price
  • Cancel the order and receive a full refund
17. FAILED PAYMENTS

If payment fails or is declined by your bank or card issuer, your order will not be processed. Common reasons for payment failure include:

  • Insufficient funds
  • Incorrect card details
  • Card expired
  • 3D Secure authentication failed
  • Bank fraud prevention measures

If payment fails, you will be notified and given the opportunity to retry with a different payment method. If the issue persists, please contact your bank or card issuer for assistance.

18. REFUNDS AND PAYMENT CANCELLATIONS

Information about refunds, cancellations, and returns can be found in our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy. Refunds are processed using the original payment method within 14 days of approval.

19. FRAUD PREVENTION

To protect both you and us from fraudulent activity, we may:

  • Verify billing and shipping information
  • Contact you for additional order verification
  • Request additional identification documents
  • Refuse or cancel orders that appear suspicious
